The Neurodevelopment Clinic offers a range of comprehensive assessments to support individuals and referrers in the diagnosis, identification, and management of various presentations.

 

Neuropsychology Assessments

Neuropsychological assessments involve cognitive testing (such as IQ, attention, memory, and executive functioning) in order to characterise a person’s cognitive strengths and weaknesses. This type of assessment can identify intellectual disability and intellectual giftedness.

 

ADHD Assessments

An ADHD assessment involves the combination of clinical interviewing, psychometric testing, and standardised rating scales to assist identification of differences in attention and executive functioning.

 

Autism Assessments

Dani provides autism assessments for individuals of all ages. The assessment involves evidence-based tools, rating scales, observations, and clinical interviewing. The written report can be used to support applications for funding through the NDIS.

 

Learning Assessments

DYSLEXIA DYSGRAPHIA DYSCALCULIA

A diagnosis of a specific learning disorderc (SLD) requires formal assessment using standardised tests of intellectual functioning and academic achievement. These tests compare the person’s level of ability to that which is considered typical development for someone of the same age and educational level.
